Technology can be less intrusive and fade into the background. This concept has no annoying feeds or a high resolution screen, instead it has a one color dot matrix and physical controls. The left side is a touch sensitive surface and the right has a dial controller that can be programmed or gets a different function when the phone get tilted e.g. alarm clock/radio mode. I’m still figuring out of how to write messages, but having the phone in landscape and using the right part as another screen for specific actions would be one solution. I also implemented a camera viewfinder, the right part can be moved to the side.
